He is board-certified in internal medicine and clinical informatics. He sees primary care internal medicine patients and also facilitates workshops on physician-patient communication for students, residents and practicing physicians. His national publications and talks include: physician adoption of IT, EHR usability, Big data and analytics, Medicine in the age of Facebook and patient online communication and access to records with Open Test Results and OpenNotes.
